This route offers an immersion into the vibrant, layered Bangkok without the tourist gloss. We'll start with a walk through the Ratchathewi district, where the everyday life of locals thrives. Next, we'll visit the famous Jim Thompson House Museum. You'll learn about the man who made Thai silk a global brand, stroll through the shady garden, and explore the traditional teak house.
We'll take a boat bus along the canal to the historic center, where we'll visit the unique Loha Prasat - the Iron Temple with an observation deck. Then, we'll hop on a tuk-tuk to Chinatown and visit the main community temple - Wat Mangkon Kamalawat.
A Chinese restaurant awaits you for lunch, featuring duck, tom yum, wontons, and seafood. Afterward, we'll take a stroll through the atmospheric Talat Noi area filled with workshops and cafes.
You can end the day at ICONSIAM with its evening fountains or head up to the observation deck of the King Power Mahanakhon skyscraper with a glass floor at 314 meters high - or return to your hotel.
